Hi there!  My name is Jennifer.  I live in rural Wisconsin right in the center of farm land on 4.5 acres, and I absolutely love it!  I share a log cabin home with my husband Kevin and our dogs Laila and Buddy - both of which are Boxers.  We just rescued Buddy this summer and he's stole all of our hearts!  I recently gave birth to our son Colin in a water birth at home.  It was the most wonderful experience and something I will never forget. 

We didn't always live in the country though.  In 2011 we moved from the city out to the country.  The move gave me time to clear my head and actually get back to my creative side.  It also renewed my love for antiques.  As a child I always frequented the antique shops & flea markets with my grandparents.  Most of the toys I played with were antique dolls my grandparents would buy me.  I loved the Victorian era and Anne of Green Gables.

I launched my etsy store Lace Anne Queen in September 2011.  The name was inspired by the wild Queen Anne Lace flowers that took over our property.  I started out selling 'picked' antiques.  Now I have handmade switch plate covers, pin cushions, and purses.  I'm very lucky to have such a supportive husband & the opportunity to work from home and spend lots of times with our dogs.

I enjoy going to estate sales & flea markets with my giant tote bags in hand. I get a thrill picking through piles and piles of junk.  I get heart palpitations when I find vintage fabric & linens.  I love the designs & patterns.  

Every day I create, dream, and spend time with Colin and our furkids.  I'm very blessed!
